  • You are older than 40 years old years old and it has been more than a year since your last mammogram.
  • You are older than 40 years old years old and in the last two years you have had mammography in our facility.
  • You are older than 40 years old years old, you have been undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HST, HRT) and had been given a referral for a preventive mammography examination from the doctor a year ago
  • You are older than 40 years old and you wish to be examined, due to family predispositions or personal concerns..

For women taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in menopause, it is recommended to have a mammogram every year. Woman is entitled to a preventive mammography covered by health insurance only once every two years;she pays for her own examinations every other year. The same applies to women who wish to be screened once a year due to personal or family risk factors, even if they are not taking HST (applies to women over 40 years of age).

Younger womenwho do not have signs of breast disease but have personal concerns or family predispositions or just want to make sure they are healthy, can be given preventive ultrasound examination for a fee.
